For sure it was a great festival - as always.
Yes there were couples like you I thought could go one round further but this has also happened at events when there were only 10 per heat.. :-))
The saddest thing of all is that if things in dance world continue as now we can reach a stage where there will only be quarter semi and finals at British Nationals..
There is another thing to consider too and most especially for Latin. So many men dance in say Cha Cha and Rumba facing one way then suddenly they do a quick spin and face same way again.
At Blackpool judges try to be fair and move around but if they cannot see a number they cannot mark. This is forgotten by so many competitors - and their coaches who should know better.
I saw one judge trying to see a number even when the couple walked off floor and eventually the judge just gave up,
ADMIN. Is there a reason that the Junior and Juvenile results have not been given on your excellent site? I am sure those little dancers would love to see their success noted.
