Thursday was the final day of the UK Open 2015 in Bournemouth. Today we watched the dancing of Amateur Ballroom and Professional Latin dancers.

Amateur Ballroom

The first final today was the Amateur Ballroom competition - this final was dominated by the Polish couples. The winners today were Sergiu Rusu and Dorota Makar from Poland who were so happy with the result as it was the first time they won this competition; they were second last year. On the second place were Dusan Dragovic and Greta Laurinaityte from England. The third place went to the Chinese couple Chong He and Jing Shan. The next two places went to the Polish couples: Andrzej Sadecki and Karina Nawrot were fourth and Lukasz Tomczak and Aleksandra Jurczak were fifth. The final was completed by Alex Freyr Gunnarsson and Liis End who represent England.

Professional Latin

The last competition of this fabulous festival was Professional Latin. Again many people waited for this moment because both Michal and Riccardo danced beautifully! In the end the winners were Michal Malitowski and Joanna Leunis from England and Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruitchenko from USA were runners-up. Maurizio Vescovo and Andra Vaidilaite who dance for Canada finished in the third place. Stefano di Filippo and Dasha were fourth. The remaining places went to the Slovenians, Andrej Skufca with Melinda followed by Jurij Batagelj with Jagoda.
