We interviewed Petar Daskalov and Zia James the winners of Amateur Rising Star Latin event at the Blackpool Dance Festival 2014. Petar and Zia live and train in Denmark but they represent England in competitions.
They talked about their partnership, and how important it is for them to be financially independent and to feel that whatever they achieved is their own making. Both Zia and Petar come from professional dancers families but they did not want to rely on the parents' contacts. Both of them are prepared to do a hard, not glamorous, manual work every day, morning and evening to be able to support their dancing...
